A quiet evening in Kansas City, Kansas, was shattered by the sound of gunfire on Monday, June 5, 2023, leading to the tragic death of 34-year-old Thomas Lowell Clime Wheeler, a White/Caucasian male. Officers from the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department were dispatched to the 500 block of Elizabeth Avenue around 9:20 p.m. following a report of shots being fired in the area. Upon their arrival, they discovered a grim scene in an alleyway where Wheeler was found suffering from gunshot wounds.
