Death by Force

Raven Lemons, a 25-year-old from North Lawndale, Chicago, was tragically shot and killed on June 18, 2017, in the early hours of the morning. The incident occurred around 2:40 a.m. in the 500 block of East Ohio Street, near Lake Shore Drive in the Streeterville neighborhood. Lemons was shot in the head while standing with a friend. The attack appeared unprovoked, and she was quickly transported to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where she was pronounced dead shortly after arriving.
