Carolyn Schranz, age 41, was tragically killed on January 25, 2008, in Chicago, Illinois. Her body was found in a snow-covered field on the city's Southwest Side, near the Chicago Sanitary and Ship Canal, approximately 100 feet from railroad tracks. The remains were discovered by a surveyor for the Village of Lyons.
