On April 10, 2023, a tragic incident occurred in the Austin neighborhood of Chicago, resulting in the death of 14-year-old Charity Johnson. Charity, a freshman at Michele Clark High School, was involved in a pre-arranged fight with another teen girl, which was reportedly instigated by the other girl's mother who forced her daughter to engage in the altercation.
