Nakia Bailey, a 21-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on May 2, 2018, in Chicago, IL. Nakia was one of five individuals shot in a drive-by shooting in the Homan Square neighborhood. The incident occurred around 9:45 PM near Grenshaw and St. Louis. Nakia, a young mother, was struck multiple times by bullets fired from a silver car.
