Eternity Gaddy, a 13-year-old girl, was shot and killed on September 1, 2008, in Chicago's Humboldt Park neighborhood while visiting family from Allentown, Pennsylvania. The tragic incident occurred when Eternity was standing with her cousin outside her great aunt's home. According to witnesses, four men emerged from a nearby alley, and one began shooting, possibly as part of a gang-related confrontation.
