Marissa Boyd, aged 19, was killed in a drive-by shooting on June 25, 2013, in Chicago's Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood. Marissa was riding in a car with four others when another vehicle pulled alongside them on the 7300 block of South King Drive and opened fire. The attack led to Marissa's death while the other passengers sustained injuries but survived.
