Virginia Perillo, aged 73, was tragically killed on October 24, 2011, in the Bridgeport neighborhood of Chicago. Perillo, a long-time nurse, was attacked in her garage as she was getting out of her car. She suffered severe head injuries and was found lying unconscious by a neighbor who called for help. Perillo was rushed to the hospital, where she remained in critical condition until she passed away two days later. She was a respected nurse at Rush University Medical Center, having worked there ...
