Virginia Perillo, aged 73, was tragically killed on October 24, 2011, in the Bridgeport neighborhood of Chicago. Perillo, a long-time nurse, was attacked in her garage as she was getting out of her car. She suffered severe head injuries and was found lying unconscious by a neighbor who called for help.
