On July 13, 2022, at approximately 2:41 a.m., police responded to a call of a shooting in the 1700 block of Stewart Avenue. Upon their arrival, they discovered Everette inside a residence, suffering from gunshot wounds.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital, but tragically, he succumbed to his injuries.
Jourdyn, born on May 26, 1994, was remembered as a charismatic and dedicated family man, an all-around athlete, and a loving father to his two young daughters. His death marked the city's 22nd homicide of the year.
