In the afternoon hours of September 26, 2016, a burst of violence shattered the ordinary atmosphere of a strip mall parking lot in Kansas City, Kansas, leaving a young man's life extinguished. Clarence Tre Buford, a 21-year-old Black / African American male, was fatally shot at the commercial center located at 43rd Street and State Avenue.
