In the late afternoon of August 31, 2021, the life of 19-year-old Johnnie Roades, a male resident of Kansas City, Kansas, was tragically cut short. Neighbors in the 3100 block of Cleveland Avenue reported hearing the sound of gunshots around 4:30 p.m., a disturbance that prompted a call to the police. Officers responded to the scene but were unable to locate a victim at that time.
