In the early morning hours of May 20, 2018, Mohamed Mohamud, a 28-year-old Black/African American male, was found shot to death inside a car in Kansas City, KS. The discovery was made in the parking lot of the Gateway Plaza Townhomes, located in the 1500 block of North Fifth Street. Police responded to a call and upon arrival, found Mohamud suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite any efforts to render aid, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
