On a summer afternoon in Kansas City, Kansas, the life of 15-year-old Kaden Bauswell, a White male, was tragically cut short. On June 8, 2021, police responded to a call around noon and found the young man on a sidewalk in the 6600 block of Cleveland Avenue, near Hazel Grove Elementary School. He had sustained a gunshot wound and was transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
