On a quiet Sunday evening in Kansas City, Kansas, the life of 64-year-old James Dodds, a beloved local figure, was tragically cut short. On June 7, 2026, police responded to a call of a shooting at a residence in the 3000 block of North 82nd Terrace around 7:15 p.m. There, they found James Dodds outside his home, suffering from a gunshot wound.
