In the late hours of Sunday, January 23, 2022, the life of 24-year-old Alec Byers, a White male, was tragically cut short in Kansas City, Kansas. Police were dispatched to James Street, near the Missouri state line, at approximately 11:10 p.m. following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Byers inside a vehicle, having sustained fatal gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
