On the afternoon of September 4, 2025, Tequan Davis, 44, a Black male, was found shot in the parking lot by the drive-through lanes of the Bank of Labor near 8th Street and State Avenue in downtown Kansas City, Kansas. Officers were called around 3:30 p.m.; Tequan Davis, 44, male, was taken from the scene to a hospital, where he died of his wounds.
