In the spring of 2014, a burst of violence shattered the evening calm in a Northeast Washington, D.C. neighborhood, leaving a young man's life cut tragically short. Hubert Hunter, a 21-year-old Black male from the area, was fatally shot on the evening of Thursday, April 10, 2014.
