Darryl Delonta Jacobs

In the pre-dawn hours of June 30, 2014, the quiet of a Washington, D.C. neighborhood was shattered by the sound of gunfire. At the intersection of 19th and H Streets in the Northeast quadrant of the city, 23-year-old Darryl Delonta Jacobs, a Black male, was the victim of a fatal shooting. When officers from the Metropolitan Police Department's Fifth District arrived on the scene at approximately 12:29 a.m., they found Jacobs suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
