In a tragic and unforeseen turn of events, Harold James, a 66-year-old Black male, lost his life on the evening of February 9, 2022, in his Southeast Washington, D.C. apartment. The quiet of the evening was shattered when a single gunshot, originating from the apartment directly above his, found its way into his home, forever altering the lives of those involved.
