On July 21, 2017, at approximately 9:45 PM, Andre Jamal Johnson, aged 42, was shot and killed in the 5000 block of H Street, SE, Washington, DC. The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) responded to the scene and initiated an investigation into the homicide. Johnson was found with gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
