Derek Price, a 20-year-old from District Heights, Maryland, was pronounced dead on the evening of July 13, 2014, following a tragic incident in Washington, D.C. Price was one of the victims in a triple shooting that occurred early Sunday morning at North Capitol and T streets. Alongside Price, 21-year-old Donchell Thomas of Montgomery Village, Maryland, also succumbed to his injuries later at a hospital. The third victim, a juvenile, survived, but their condition was not disclosed.
