In the early morning hours of Sunday, May 10, 2015, the life of 27-year-old Terrance Wayne Moore, a resident of Northeast Washington, D.C., was tragically cut short. Shortly before 2 a.m., the sound of gunfire echoed through the 1800 block of North Capitol Street. When police officers arrived at the scene, they discovered Moore suffering from fatal gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the location of the shooting.
