In the early hours of a Wednesday morning in Washington, D.C., the life of 46-year-old George Denny Jr. was tragically cut short. On July 5, 2017, police responded to a call and discovered Denny on Galveston Street in the Southwest quadrant of the city, suffering from a gunshot wound. The incident occurred around midnight in the Bellevue neighborhood.
