On July 10, 2020, at approximately 6:22 PM, William Charles Dismuke, aged 40, was found shot and killed in the 1100 block of New Hampshire Avenue, Northwest, Washington, DC. Officers from the Second District responded to a report of an unconscious person and discovered Dismuke inside a hotel room, suffering from a gunshot wound.
