On January 30, 2020, 30-year-old John Seegars was found dead in his residence on the 100 block of Atlantic Street, Southeast, Washington, DC. The Metropolitan Police Department responded to a report of a shooting at approximately 8:10 PM. Upon arrival, officers discovered Seegars inside his home, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
