In the summer of 2017, a 32-year-old woman named Shameka Delephine Jones was killed in Washington, D.C. On the morning of July 22nd, police responded to a call about a shooting at a residence in the 2200 block of Savannah Terrace, SE. Inside, they discovered Ms. Jones suffering from a gunshot wound.
