In the evening hours of Friday, April 10, 2026, the sounds of gunfire shattered the quiet of a street in Southeast Washington, D.C., tragically ending the life of a young man. Deangelo Scott, a 25-year-old male resident of the area, was discovered suffering from a gunshot wound in the 3000 block of 30th Street. The incident occurred at approximately 8:34 p.m., prompting a rapid response from the Seventh District officers of the Metropolitan Police Department.
