In the late hours of a Saturday in Wichita, Kansas, a gathering took an unfortunate turn, culminating in the death of 38-year-old Thomas Rhodes, a Black/African American male. On the evening of September 14, 2024, police were called to a residence in the 3300 block of South Euclid, where they discovered Rhodes with a gunshot wound. Despite the efforts of medical personnel who arrived at the scene, he was pronounced dead.
