Death by Force

On August 26, 2018, Piera Sterling Barbour, aged 28, was found fatally shot on the 600 block of 46th Place, SE, Washington, DC. The Metropolitan Police Department discovered Barbour's body near the Benning Road Metro station. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Barbour's death was a significant loss to his family and friends, who gathered for his funeral service on August 31, 2018, at the National Church of God in Fort Washington, Maryland.
