On September 10, 2018, at approximately 8:03 PM, Abdual Giles, a 23-year-old resident of Washington, DC, was tragically shot and killed in the 800 block of Chesapeake Street, SE. The Metropolitan Police Department responded to the scene and found Giles suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries.
