In the early hours of a spring morning in Washington, D.C., a violent encounter left one young man dead and another wounded. The incident unfolded on Monday, May 31, 2010, when police were called to the 900 block of Decatur Street, NW, at approximately 2:33 a.m. for a report of a shooting.
