On May 15, 2021, at approximately 4:55 pm, 28-year-old Lester Howard was shot and killed in the 3900 block of Minnesota Avenue, Northeast, Washington, DC. The incident occurred when members of the Sixth District responded to a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found Lester Howard, along with two adult females, all suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
