Juan Chapman, a 32-year-old Black male from Birmingham, Alabama, was found deceased on January 27, 2025. His body was discovered in a wooded area in the 2000 Block of Carlos Avenue after family members, concerned about his disappearance over the weekend, initiated a search. Authorities responded to a "Person Down" call at approximately 2:50 p.m., where they found Chapman unresponsive. Birmingham Fire and Rescue personnel pronounced him dead at the scene.
