Death by Force

On December 14, 2021, at approximately 8:00 p.m., Birmingham police officers responded to a shooting at a residence located at 7564 66th Street South in the Gate City neighborhood. Upon arrival, they discovered 37-year-old Franklin "Frank" Winston lying unresponsive on the kitchen floor, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Birmingham Fire and Rescue personnel pronounced him deceased at the scene.
