On a cold evening in Washington, D.C., a burst of violence shattered the night, leaving a young man clinging to life. Stephon Franks, a 27-year-old male from Southeast, D.C., was discovered inside a vehicle at the intersection of Suitland Parkway and Stanton Road, Southeast, on Monday, December 6, 2021. He had sustained apparent gunshot wounds. The incident was reported to the Seventh District of the Metropolitan Police Department at approximately 8:39 p.m.
