In the late afternoon of a Saturday in the nation's capital, a life was tragically cut short by gunfire. On September 25, 2021, police were called to the 2200 block of 5th Street NE, where they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was identified as 46-year-old Brandon Dion Miller.

Emergency services arrived at the scene and transported Miller to a nearby hospital. Despite the efforts of medical personnel, his injuries proved to be fatal, and he was pronounced dead. The in ...
