Death by Force

On August 15, 2015, at approximately 1:00 am, 27-year-old Lawrence Alonzo Carter was found unconscious and unresponsive in the 1500 block of First Street, Northwest, Washington, DC. He had suffered a fatal gunshot wound. Officers from the Metropolitan Police Department's Fifth District responded to a call reporting the sounds of gunshots and discovered Carter at the scene. He was later transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, where he was pronounced dead.
