On April 13, 2020, at approximately 11:20 PM, Clarence Skrine, a 25-year-old resident of Northwest, Washington, DC, was shot and killed in the 700 block of Longfellow Street, NW. Emergency medical services responded to the scene and transported Skrine to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead after life-saving efforts failed.
