BIRMINGHAM, Alabama -A man shot to death Friday night in Birmingham's South Avondale neighborhood has been identified.
The victim is 32-year-old James Edward Walters of Birmingham, said Jefferson County Deputy Coroner Johnny Long. Walters was found shot inside his vehicle at 11:35 p.m. Friday. He was pronounced dead on the scene at 11:59 p.m., Long said.
