On a Saturday afternoon, June 6, 2020, in the Brentwood neighborhood of Northeast Washington, D.C., the life of 18-year-old Marquis Harrod, a male resident of Southeast, DC, was tragically cut short. At approximately 4:50 p.m., police responded to reports of a shooting in the 1300 block of Brentwood Road, Northeast. Upon arrival, they discovered Harrod suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency medical services were unable to save him, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
