In the early morning hours of a late summer day, the life of Gregory Sam, a Black male, was tragically cut short on the streets of Washington, D.C. On Thursday, September 22, 2005, at approximately 6:30 a.m., gunshots shattered the quiet of the 3200 block of 6th Street, SE.
