In the spring of 2020, a violent encounter in a Northeast Washington, D.C. apartment building brought an end to the life of 22-year-old D’Andre Mickle. On the morning of April 28th, events unfolded inside the Parkway Plaza Apartments on 24th Street NE that would leave Mickle with multiple gunshot wounds.
