On August 13, 2021, Kenneth Jenkins, a 29-year-old resident of Washington, DC, was found dead in Southeast DC. The incident occurred around 5:18 a.m. in the 3200 block of G Street, Southeast. Officers responded to reports of gunshots and discovered Jenkins suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services, Jenkins was pronounced dead at the scene.
