On a summer evening in Washington, D.C., the life of a young man was tragically cut short in a fatal shooting. Twenty-four-year-old Muntsier Sharfi, a male from Bristow, Virginia, was discovered inside an overturned vehicle on July 8, 2021, in the 3300 block of Southern Avenue, Southeast. Authorities determined he had been shot moments earlier about a block away on Erie Street.
