On a cold Detroit evening in December of 2015, 16-year-old Jessie Boswell was fatally shot, his life cut short in a crime that remains unsolved. The young man, a student at George Washington Carver in Highland Park, had dreams of a future in law enforcement, aspiring to one day become a police officer. He was also a creative soul who found joy in music and writing rap songs.
