In the cold of a Detroit January evening, a shared passion for restoring classic cars between a father and son was tragically cut short. Twenty-year-old Eugene Landyon Jr. was the victim of a fatal carjacking on January 26, 2015. He had been driving his prized 1978 Chevy El Camino, a vehicle he and his father, Eugene Landyon Sr., had lovingly worked on together. Their last conversation was a fleeting moment that Saturday night as they both headed out on separate errands.
