In the fall of 2019, on the west side of Detroit, a heated argument tragically escalated, ending the life of 27-year-old Donovan Welch. On October 14th, a dispute erupted between Welch, a Black male, and another man on the 15800 block of Joy Road. The verbal confrontation quickly turned violent, leading to a fatal conclusion.
