In the early hours of a Monday morning, a dispute at a Detroit gas station tragically escalated, ending the life of 32-year-old Martin Clay of Davison, Michigan. On July 28, 2025, at approximately 4 a.m., Detroit police were called to a Marathon gas station on Puritan Street where they discovered a scene of violence. Clay was found at the entrance of the gas station with multiple gunshot wounds to his torso and buttocks and was pronounced dead at the scene.
