Calvin Edmond, a 17-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on April 22, 2014, in Laplace, Louisiana. Calvin, affectionately known as "Lil Cal," was shot in the head in the Cambridge subdivision. He was found struggling to hold onto life in the front yard of a local residence and was airlifted to a New Orleans hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
