Andrew Jasmine, a 29-year-old male from LaPlace, Louisiana, was found dead in his home on February 15, 2017. Deputies responded to a call about a man not breathing at around 8:30 a.m. in the 2000 block of East Frisco Drive. Upon arrival, they discovered Jasmine had sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his body and was pronounced dead at the scene. The residence had been ransacked, indicating a possible robbery.
